Community members from across the state are invited to join us at the Swansea Emergency Services Open Day!  This is a fantastic opportunity to meet local volunteers, and learn about volunteer recruitment opportuntiies in your area. They will be joined by trade stalls from multiple emergency response agencies, and attendees are invited to enjoy the free BBQ and activities for the kids!  The Bushfire Ready Neighbourhoods Program will be presenting a trade stall, and will be offering information regarding bushfire preparedness measures for spring! This event is hosted by the Tasmania Fire and Emergency Service Volunteer Strategy and Support Unit, who will be available on the day to answer questions about volunteer recruitment.  For further information on becoming a volunteer, please click here.  The event will run from 10:00am - 3:00pm.
